The operating suite at MMHC's National Vasectomy
Reversal Center was designed solely for the
performance of microsurgical vasectomy reversals.
Our surgery center is fully accredited by the
American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory
Surgery Facilities, Inc. All of the equipment in the
OR is state of the art including the operating
microscope, the OR table and the ventilator, which
is used for providing either intravenous sedation
with local or general anesthesia.
The intravenous sedation with local or general
anesthesia is provided by certified registered nurse
anesthetists (CRNA's), all of whom have had
extensive experience in providing anesthesia care.
The OR also has a HEPA filter system that
continuously purifies the air in the room and a back
up generator, which can provide 3 hours of
uninterrupted electricity in case of a power outage.
At MMHC's National Vasectomy Reversal Center,
safety is a high priority and we feel confident that
you will receive medical care that is equivalent to
that available at most hospital based operating
rooms. |
