A new baby for Christmas

Dear Dr. Schow

Enclosed you will find the birth announcement for our new son, Jack.  You performed a vasectomy reversal on my husband, Rob, on December 15th, 2007.  We’re happy to say that our first try after the operation was a success.  After a failed first reversal by another Dr., you were literally our last hope.  After finding you on the internet, reading about your outstanding success rates and then speaking to you on the phone, we decided to try one last time.  My husband’s original vasectomy was performed in 2000 so it had benn 7 years since then.  That made us a little cautious since it wasn’t within a shorter period of time.  But you reassured us that we still had an excellent chance for success even with the other reversal that wasn’t successful.  We’re so glad that we put our faith in you.  Rob’s recovery from your surgery was quick and much less painful than our first attempt.

Everyone on your staff is so friendly and helpful.  Any and all questions were quickly answered and everyone was so kind.

No one know better than my husband and I what a difficult decision it can be to put your trust in someone to perform a surgery like this.  It’s so important that the procedure be performed by someone who knows what they are doing.  We were so concerned with making the right choice the second time around and we have no doubt in our minds that we definitely found the best.  Even though it was a 6 hour drive with our 3 kids in the middle of winter to Minnesota from Illinois, it was the best trip we ever made.

Thank you so much for your part in helping us achieve the birth of our 4th child.  We are so grateful to you and your staff.  This is one of the best early Christmas gifts we could ever have received!  Well, actually, he’s one of the best birthday presents I have ever received as he was born on my birthday!

Best wishes to you and your staff
