Hey Cheryl, I had a reversal done in June 2008. In December, Celeste and I found out we are expecting. On April 9th we found out we are having a boy. I just wanted to keep everyone in your office in the loop. The due date is August 29th. I’ll send pictures. Dr. Schow’s office and everyone affilitated with his office are wonderful. My 5 year old is so excited about being a big brother.

There is no need for a semen analysis because we conceived just one month after the surgery. We now have a beautiful baby boy. Matthias is now three months. He is the joy in our lives. Thank you soooo much for this miracle

Thanks to your fabulous skills, we now have a beautiful baby girl. Jeff's reversal was done February 18, 2005, and I found out I was pregnant September 20, 2005!! This was Jeff's 2nd reversal.

We had his first reversal done at Metro Urology, not knowing where else to go, and that was who the insurance companies suggested. So, we went with them and it failed. It seemed hopeless. We were then referred to Dr. Malo for IVF. When we met with him, he suggested we meet with Dr. Schow for a 2nd reversal, he told us he's the best in the business. That day I called and made the appointment.

After meeting with Dr. Schow we were very hopeful and excited for our second chance. The surgery was a night and day experience from my husband's first one. He was able to walk after the procedure and he didn't have ½ the pain he had with the first one.it was a very good experience. The staff that works with Dr. Schow is amazing, and they made sure we were comfortable with everything before we even started.

One month after the procedure we found out it was successful! And we were so excited! When my OB got the sperm analysis results, she told me there was no way I would get pregnant because the count was so low, and that I needed to do IVF. Frustrated, I called Dr. Schow and he reassured me everything is good, and to be patient, the count will continue to grow. Well, not even one month after that conversation I found out I was pregnant.

We had a very positive experience at MMHC. Wanting another child came 6 years post vasectomy, due to a medical condition with one of our other children. This January 2004 will be 3 years since your vasectomy reversal on Steven. As you know Steven had a vasectomy in 1988. Eleven months after his reversal we were pregnant. Sadly 12 weeks gestation we found the fetus to be unviable, twin boys which did not split correctly. After my D&C in 2/02, Steven and I decided to take a break from the baby making issue. Three months later 5/02 we were pregnant again, this time with a healthy baby girl. Grace was born 2/03, on my 38th birthday. I just wanted to drop you a note with a little update on our lives. As you know about a year ago my wife and I came to your office because we had been trying unsuccessfully for more than a year to have a child. I had intended to write sooner, but I am excited to announce that the vasectomy reversal you performed in May of 2001 was a success. This time last year we were pleased to find that my wife was pregnant with conception taking place in November, just five months after the procedure. In July of 2002, out daughter Katherine was born. In my case, I was a 54 year old who was 12 years post vasectomy, and the original surgeon had tied, cauterized, and clamped the ends to ensure complete closure.
